Risk Management Risk is an inherent part of JPMorgan Chase's business activities and the firm's overall risk tolerance is established in the context of the firm's earnings power, capital, and diversified business model. The firm's risk management framework and governance structure are intended to provide comprehensive controls and on-going management of the major risks inherent in its business activities. It is also intended to create a culture of risk awareness and personal responsibility throughout the firm. The firm's ability to properly identify, measure, monitor and report risk is critical to both its soundness and profitability. Reputation Risk Reputation risk is the risk that an action, inaction, transaction, investment or event will reduce trust in our Firm's integrity or competence by our various constituents, including clients, counterparties, investors, regulators, employees and the broader public. It is amorphous, difficult to identify and manage, and more difficult to recover from than any other type of risk. Reputation Risk in Asset and Wealth Management is managed through the Reputation Risk Committees whose mandate is to review imminent, existing or prospective transactions, activities and client relationships of or undertaken by Asset and Wealth Management as agent or principal, which, in the opinion of the relevant business head, have the potential for reputation risk. Role Responsibilities Educate and advise bankers and management within the Business on Reputation Risk governance and issue escalation. Provide consultation on escalation requirements for individual client situations. Partner with senior front office bankers, client advisors and management as well as legal, global financial crimes compliance and corporate tax colleagues to review potential reputation risk matters, providing guidance and challenge in a collegial manner. Educate front office on Reputation Risk governance and issue escalation Secretary of JPMS and USPB Reputation Risk Committees, participate in RRC pre-vetting processes, and back up Secretary for the AM RRC - Prepare minutes, advise on issue escalation to RRC and track condition fulfillment status Metrics and Risk Reporting - Responsible for entering accurate, complete, timely and comprehensive data in reputation risk systems for creating Firm wide and AWM-wide reputation risk internal reporting. Responsible for creating metrics and writing commentary for various risk governance forums, including but not limited to the AWM and WM Risk Committees, and DRPC/EMR. Maintain AWM wide data accuracy in reputation risk systems Assist with carrying out AWM's Heightened Risk Sector (HRS) Framework - Responsible for maintaining the AWM HRS Procedures to comply with JPMC's Environmental and Social Risk policy Actively participate in cross-LOB reputation risk working groups, including close coordination with Firmwide Reputation Risk Governance leadership. AWM Reputation Risk liaison to technology team in significant rebuild of Firmwide Reputation Risk Database. Assist AWM Global Head of Reputation Risk with AWM reputation risk governance - Liaison to Firmwide Reputation Risk Governance team to ensure Firmwide Reputation Risk Policy is implemented consistently across AWM. Coordinate and run global reputation risk meetings with relevant control and business partners Participate in the Reputation Risk CORE process along with Firmwide Reputation Risk Governance Participate in new product development initiatives and other risk initiatives , as needed Perform additional ad hoc projects, as needed Qualifications: 5 years Financial Industry Experience required; Experience in investments, client relationships and products within an Asset Management/Wealth Management environment - preferred S trong analytical skills, ability to assess and clearly articulate complex ideas and possess creativity Very Strong PC skills including MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word Strong project management skills Excellent oral and written communication skills Action and decision oriented, with an innovative mindset and a focus on results Legal background a plus Ability to i nteract with all levels of management and business /control partners Work independently with minimal supervision Exceptional organizational and time management skills Effectively handle competing priorities and have the ability to work as a part of multiple teams Outstanding attention to detail and ability to learn complex processes that affect various functions Enjoy working in a fast-paced environmentSalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification5 - 7 years
