MAIN PURPOSE: The Director, Learning & Development is responsible for leading the development and execution of Richemont North America's people development strategy for all learning aspects that can scale across our Maisons and Functions, both Corporate and Retail, with an initial priority focus on the development of a Retail Academy. This role works closely with Group L&D/HR, RNA HR, and senior leadership and reports to the SVP, Head of HR, Richemont North America. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Learning & Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of RNA's first Retail Academy and fully manage Retail Academy operations once opened, serving scalable retail sales and retail management development for all Maisons. Lead the development and execution of scalable corporate development programs serving leadership, management and individual contributor populations. Deliver content for both the Retail Academy and other L&D initiatives as appropriate, and as part of a team that includes vendor partnerships Lead a team of L&D professionals, assess and develop team capabilities for current and future business needs Gather and lead (as a peer), a learning community of practice across all Maison specific L&D teams to leverage the scale of the group, provide cross Maison development opportunities and develop our L&D community. Partner with Richemont Group L&D partners to shape globally and ensure best regional effectiveness for Group people and organization development priorities Partner with the RNA Senior HR team, in particular the Head of Talent on strategic people and organization priorities and initiatives Assess and maximise the effectiveness of external partnerships with higher learning institutions, and commercial learning partners. Direct all North America's onboarding programs; deploy relevant, targeted and timely communication tactics to increase education and awareness with newcomers and hiring managers. Partner with the HRLT and executive sponsor(s) to lead change management strategies in the region. QUALIFICATIONS: 10 years Learning and Development experience with at least 5 years in a L&D strategy development and execution role Experience with and understanding of Retail, FMCG or Sales organizations in an L&D capacity Graduate degree in Development, Business or related disciplines Post Graduate degree highly regarded Relevant certifications highly regarded Experience working for an international, multi-brand organization, either in HQ or regional platform Luxury/retail industry knowledge is a plus Experience managing a team Excellent interpersonal and consulting skills, including leadership, influencing and relationship-building across functions and cultures Strong customer service and engagement skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Salary Range: NAMinimum Qualification11 - 15 years
