The Director of Professional Services will be responsible and accountable for the services performed and overall profitability of all of the business units within the Professional Services division. Our Professional Services team is organized into individual business units that are associated to each of our supported business applications product lines. Each business unit has its own P&L and is measured based on its customer success, employee engagement and financial results. The Director of Professional Services will guide and direct business unit leaders on how to successfully run and grow a best-in-class services organization. The Director of Professional Services must be a strong executive leader that promotes service revenue growth, operational excellence, and successful client implementations that provide customers with measurable value. Your impact will be evident when you: Own and successfully manage a full PL across Professional Services Identify market and team-specific opportunities to accelerate service excellence and efficiency across the services teams, onboarding, revenue generation, profitability optimization and reporting & analytics Develop client relationships at Executive and Project Sponsor levels Ensure that standard best practices are upheld, specifically in project kickoffs, client-facing documentation, ongoing communications, and client-facing governance plans Maintain full visibility and status on multiple complex projects including resourcing, budgeting, timeline, risk, and governance Oversee reporting for key stakeholders, including updates, metrics, and other analytical measures to backup project progress and overall status Your qualifications: You come from a Professional Services, agency, consulting, or SaaS environment, with over 10 years of experience You are a proven leader that has scaled a services team and possess a track record of leading, coaching, and developing high-performing, distributed teams You have experience with a SaaS or other recurring revenue/service business model You are expertly skilled in accurate forecasting and using KPIs to deliver excellent results You have demonstrated success working with sales and marketing teams to create business development, growth, pricing and profit strategies You have managed delivery resources and implemented complex and dynamic solutions for small and medium size business You have experience managing customers, change orders, utilization, and project margins You have developed a strong track record of delivering services engagements on time and in-budget You identify as an excellent problem-solver with extraordinary organizational and analytical abilities You possess the ability to build strong partnerships with other internal business leaders You have an understanding of core ERP/CRM/ERP/HRMS and WEB technologies You have effective oral, presentation, and written communication skills You can demonstrate the ability to effectively recruit, develop and retain employees Our unique corporate culture offers an opportunity to work with our passionate and talented team in a stable, growing environment with a business casual dress code Monday through Friday and monthly, catered employee appreciation luncheons This position is based in our NYC headquarters.
