Role & Responsibilities: Upwardly Group is seeking a Director of Programmatic Strategy. This individual will be responsible for leading programmatic strategies of the department, developing strategic goals for the company, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the programmatic and ad ops team. Position can be based in Houston, TX or New York City, NY. Remote candidates will be considered given the right experience. Key Responsibilities: Liaise with Senior Management to work on strategic projects incl. Biz Dev, Customer Growth, evaluate existing & new Technologies Lead the Programmatic and Ad Ops team. Guide/work with the team on how to solve complex tech or business problems. Manage relationship with Tech vendors/platforms. Vet new tech platforms for the company. Campaign management in a supervisory position; ensuring work is being done to spec Build internal processes using multiple platforms incl. Basecamp, Maintain the existing Supply network (SSP) and improve on it to expand capacity, variety and flexibility. Track Programmatic IOs, verify numbers are in line with expectations Update the Financial Tracking Sheet for each client as IOs come in Support Operations team to build out sell side platform (SSP)/Ad network for client Set product and services strategy and act as formal product owner Provide timely and accurate analytics and reporting Understand clients business to consult on how best to achieve campaign goals Troubleshoot campaign issues Requirements Key Qualifications: Hands-on programmatic experience in multiple DSPs (AppNexus, Google 360, The Trade Desk, etc.) Experience working on agency or publisher-side Experience leading a team of programmatic or ad ops professionals Coding ability (HTML/JavaScript/JSON) Experience working with DMPs & SSPs Experience with APIs preferred Experience with header bidding technology preferred SDL2017
