Job Description Brand: Este Lauder Companies Job: Finance & Accounting Primary Location: Americas-US-NY-New York Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift Job Number: 199583 Description Estee Lauder Corporation is seeking a highly analytical, forward-looking, Director of Strategy, Finance and Analytics to join the Global Online Finance team, and who will report to the Executive Director of Global Online Finance & Strategy. The Director will lead global financial planning and analysis for the multi-billion dollar e/m-Commerce division, including management of the Long Range Plan and Annual Budget, while also developing key strategic financial planning tools and delivering business insights through deep analytics, and NPV/DCF/ROI analyses. The Director will partner and collaborate with global resources and all individual region and brand teams, to help manage and drive online business performance across all online channels of distribution. Lead the Long Range Plan and Annual Budget process for Global Online, including developing a framework, tools, templates, and analyses to synthesize projections and develop insights Lead reporting and analytics for Global Online through the monthly close and estimate process, while assessing financial performance, providing business insights, and developing scenario plans Ability to transform ideas that may range from market insights and competitor performance to digital and creative investments into financial projections Assess investment opportunities to ensure they align with overall strategy and financial targets, while developing NPV/DCF/ROI analyses to evaluate programs, opportunities, and cost savings initiatives In partnership with the Online Analytics Team, assist in the development of analytical tools to pair financial performance with KPIs (e.g. traffic, conversion) to drive business performance Deliver exceptional presentations for Senior Management that include business performance, market assessments, competitive reviews, and other industry and business related insights and summaries Qualifications Minimum Education level: College/ Post Graduate Degree preferred Minimum Years of Experience: Min 6-8 years of global experience in Consulting, Private Equity, Banking, or Consumer / Retail % Travel Time: 25% Required Language Proficiency: English required; additional languages preferred, Mandarin ideal Licenses or Certifications: Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.): Outstanding quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to think conceptually Strong, proven P&L and Balance Sheet management, including budgeting and forecasting experience Team player with strong communication skills Highly organized and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required Hyperion/Essbase and SAP experience a plus International experience or deep-knowledge preferred LI-CG2 We are an equal opportunity employer.
