Job Description Brand: Este Lauder Companies Job: Finance & Accounting Primary Location: Americas-US-NY-New York Job Type: Standard Schedule: Full-time Shift: 1st (Day) Shift Job Number: 1915073 Description Position Summary: This role is directly responsible for aligning, prioritizing, and pacing of transformation projects in the Business Intelligence & Analytics Program (BIA Program) working together with the BIA Program Manager and in agreement with the respective project managers and project owners. The BIA Program comprises several portfolios of projects in different BI&A Focus Areas across the Company. The BIA PMO will work with PMOs of these portfolios to ensure their projects are being delivered per agreed plans, and ensuring consistent visibility of progress, risks, opportunities and potential interdependencies between the portfolios. This role also looks at operationalizing priority projects to a transformational outcome based upon the strategic direction of the company as a member of the Business Intelligence & Analytics (BI&A) team. Job Description: BIAs goal is to accelerate ELCs ability to unlock business value from data for our brands, corporate functions, partners, and employees through enabling connected, trusted enterprise data. The offerings being developed will enable both internal and externally facing solutions, ranging from predictive supply chain analytics to sophisticated marketing ROI dashboards. Core to this charter is working with teams across the company to understand the data quality capabilities needed in the company and to deliver them to ELC employees. You will be closely partnering with our data management teams to understand customer needs, prioritize capabilities, build out the platform roadmap, coordinate delivery of these capabilities with our development teams and partners, and then drive adoption to them. The successful candidate will leverage their previous project management and data management expertise to ensure high-quality execution. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The scope of the role will provide a rich path to tremendous growth and development opportunities, including: Lead the identification of BIA projects in specific BI&A Focus Areas to ensure that projects are aligned and prioritized with the BIA Program and business strategic objectives are sequenced to prevent impact between interdependent projects. The role must take into consideration execution, resources, timeframe and cost: 40% Facilitate stakeholder meetings to discuss the planning and execution of individual projects. Ensure the business and BIA teams are provided with regular visibility and tracking of progress. Must look to mitigate risk with potential solutions to solve for these. A key component of this responsibility is tracking against agreed schedule and budget: 30% Incorporate appropriate KPIs against specified targets for the BIA Program Focus Area portfolios: 10% Develop and measure portfolio run-rate of actual spend versus plan across the whole BIA Program for monthly review with senior management, ie. for all BIA Focus Area portfolios. This requires inputs and alignment with each Focus Area PMO: 10% Provide project management advisory, influence and collaboration if necessary to support effective project delivery per plan: 10% Qualifications Requirements & Qualifications: 10 years experience in project management, strategy and/or planning with at least 5 years of experience in strategy consulting or corporate development, with a passion for data and analytics Self-starter with well-developed interpersonal and influence skills; ability to create strong working relationships across all levels and disciplines in the company, driving progress through influence Ability to interact independently with senior leaders; executive presence, business judgment, and maturity Very strong problem-solving skills Top-notch quantitative and analytical skills; ability to find structure, logic, and insight in complex business problems to provide meaningful conclusions Ability to structure documents and quantitative analyses to effectively communicate with senior management Strong project management capabilities with ability to thrive in a project-based, collaborative team environment Ability to lead with business value and clearly measure and articulate business impact Strong cross-group collaboration skills Previous experience leading PMOs and running portfolios of diverse projects Attention to detail and excellence in execution Preferably, a Certified Project Management (PMP) or PRINCE/2 Professional High proficiency in MS Office including MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint We are an equal opportunity employer.
