Cardiology - 2499140 Senior Administrative Director Job Summary?: The Senior Administrative Director is a key member of the healthcare organization?s leadership team and is charged with meeting the organization?s goals and objectives for assuring the effective and efficient delivery of imaging services at Mount Sinai Hospital and its affiliate outpatient locations. The Sr Administrative Director is an experienced administrator serving the hospital/System through leading the operations, strategy development and financial planning and execution of the imaging sections/department; with expertise on matters regarding operations, applicable technology, licensure, quality and regulatory requirements, as they relate to imaging services. Working closely with the MSH SVP of Cardiac Services, entire Radiology/Imaging staff, including resident physician house staff, Technologists, Nursing, and Clerical and Support Staff to develop and implement operations to optimize use of hospital services for all patients while also ensuring the quality of care provided. This includes working with hospital leadership in developing imaging protocols with physicians and others to optimize length of hospital stay and ensure the appropriate use of diagnostic and therapeutic modalities. Roles & Responsibilities:? Plans, directs and evaluates all the technical aspects of the department's services and programs.? Responsible for reporting, management and evaluation of Key Performance Indicators in all areas including but not limited to Operations, Finance, Customer Satisfaction, and Quality.? Leads the department and teams to demonstrate continuous improvement in quality, service and cost.? Performs continuous monitoring of the quality of service given by vendors who have service contracts and warranties with the Hospital.? Reviews the demand for services and evaluates/assesses the potential expansion of the Radiology service.? Maintains responsibility for the preparation and management of the department's personnel, supplies and equipment budgets. Evaluates the technical, clerical and auxiliary staffing requirements necessary to provide quality patient care and to perform services rendered by Radiology department in an efficient and productive manner. Education Requirements: Bachelor?s Degree, Masters in Healthcare or related field preferred. Licensed Radiology Technologist in the State of New York. Experience Requirements: Minimum of 7 years progressive imaging leadership experience, preferably in an Academic Medical Center environment. Possesses or acquires a solid foundation, knowledge, and/or experience in the areas of diagnostic and interventional imaging, quality improvement, and patient safety.? Possess a working knowledge of (Hospital) organization & Imaging operations and administrative standards and policies. Strong computer skills and working knowledge of the EMR (Epic experience preferred) and RIS. Ability to build rapport with medical staff and hospital leadership to obtain the buy-in and collaboration necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
