About the role We are looking for a Director of Compensation that will collaborate with senior leadership to drive change and maintain global market competitiveness. This person will own all of our company-wide compensation programs, on and off-cycle review processes, communications, and policies for FanDuel Group. We are looking for an excellent communicator who is collaborative, analytical, strategic, and insightful, and has a comprehensive understanding of industry trends and knowledge of what it takes to compete in a modern talent marketplace. Problem-solving skills and the ability to anticipate the needs of the organization will be critical to success in this position. We want someone who has an eye towards continuous improvement, leveraging technology or other solutions to automate and scale our processes as they exist today. What youll do Create appropriate compensation structures for specific salary grades and determine proper placement of employees within grades; evaluate market data to recommend range adjustments Actively participate as a member of FanDuel Groups People leadership team Thoroughly understand FLSA requirements and determine status Monitor the effectiveness of existing internal compensation policies, guidelines and procedures recommending revisions that maintain competitiveness among all markets Research market practices among different geographies, compile and analyze information to make recommendations for requested positions or market adjustments Prepare market data recommendations for annual compensation review program Provides ad-hoc analyses and reports on various compensation related issues Streamline and develop new and existing compensation and governance processes Leverage subject matter expertise to advise management, HR Business Partners, finance and legal partners, and others on compensation matters Perform ad-hoc analyses and manage special projects as needed (e.g., leveling, organizational planning, comp strategy, retention, etc.) Experience implementing a performance-based compensation systems Experience managing, leading and mentoring a team Who were looking for Bachelors degree required; additional HR certifications are preferred (SHRM-CP, PHR, CCP, CEBS) 10 years of progressive experience in Compensation, including Executive Compensation Executive presence with a business mindset and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate at all levels of the organizationsomeone who is a team player Experience with incentive plan design, equity program management Ability to multi-task while managing deadlines, perform well under pressure, work independently and as a part of a team Demonstrated ability to manage projects to on-time completion with confidentiality and integrity Ability to succeed in a collaborative, fast-paced environment What you get in return Beyond working with such a great team?
