It is a start up within News Corp and as such will be required to generate new business, new processes/products and have a spirit of innovation.Role and Responsibilities: To act as the lead for all commercial activities including overall client relationships and engagement. To be responsible for all pre-sales, Scope of Work proposals, including pricing and products. To drive the business development both personally and in directing the activities of the entire team. To coordinate and support the VPs of the sector verticals in driving business opportunities and intelligence requirements. To be responsible for the overall client engagement process, supporting the intelligence teams in production and delivery of intelligence. To lead on the successful coordination and collaboration with the other Storyful pillars. To lead on the liaison with the finance and legal teams on financial scheduling, forecasts and contracts. To lead on the commercial relationship with Dow Jones and with any strategic partnerships. As the business expands, to lead and manage commercial teams. To lead on all marketing and communications about Storyful Intelligence. To support the allocation of resources and support to the Int teams, overseeing the overall process and ensuring collaboration and integration.Knowledge, Skills and Experience:Essential: 8-10 years of experience of all commercial activities including sales, and client relationships/engagement. Experience of client management, including the preparation and delivery of pitches and briefs. Experience of managing financial forecasts and contracts. Understanding of social media or information centric intelligence. Experience of managing a teams Credible at a senior client level and with Storyful Exec team Demonstrable behaviour of self motivation, initiative and a passion for change.Desirable: Experience or knowledge of intelligence, social media or mainstream media. Experience of dealing with either major social media platforms, large publishers or financial services.Job Category:Storyful - Executives
