The team integrates relevant information from social science and education fields with extensive original research, fostering Girls Scouts' continuing leadership position as an authority on girls' and women's leadership development, parenting and family dynamics and cultural influences. Through the Girl Scout Research Institute, the team provides data-driven insights about girls, parents and volunteers in order to inform strategic decision making, while continually evaluating the impact of Girl Scout program through outcomes assessment, including funded initiatives and the quality of support and resources provided to customers. The Girl Expertise and Insights teams collaborates with all other divisions at Girls Scouts of the USA divisions as well as our national councils and global partner organizations to further our mission.You WillThis position requires an energetic, entrepreneurial-minded professional to lead the organization's internal research arm, The Girl Scout Research Institute. This leader will be responsible for driving a national research agenda, serving as the spokesperson of Girl Scout research, managing a dynamic research team, and working collaboratively across GSUSA and 111 Girl Scout councils. The individual assuming this role will be a strategic thinker with a strong command of social science research and/or market research, program evaluation, customer experience metrics, and business and system processes.
