Lead Business Analyst for QFC Regulatory Reporting:


This position will be part of the the firm's Funding Capital and Liquidity team in New York, NY. Collateral Management team has responsibility to implement and support enterprise-wide Qualified Financial Contract regulatory initiative. The scope of this work includes participating in building and supporting the overall regulatory implementation.
Responsibilities include the following:



  • Provide business analysis and data analysis leadership to various streams of QFC Regulatory implementation ensuring timely execution of requirement gathering data analysis and high-lighting any data gaps during initial phase of project

  • Partner with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for complex business problems and recommend comprehensive technology

  • Partner with business and technology teams to analyze, interpret, and document requirements for complex business problems and recommend comprehensive technology

  • Analyze complex requirements and translates to FSD or create backlog JIRAs for sprint planning

  • Use technical expertise and in depth capital markets domain knowledge in the relevant product or functional area to develop solutions that are strategic, cost effective and meet business requirements.

  • Apply knowledge of industry and technology changes to meet business partner tactical and strategic goals. Work with business users to develop and provide training, resolve

  • Ensure effective system testing and project development lifecycle management within the area of responsibility. May manage others.


Required Skills



  • 10+ years of experience leading the requirement design process with both technical and business partners

  • 7+ years of business systems analysis or design experience

  • 4+ years of experience in the capital markets and investment banking industry

  • 10+ years of brokerage industry experience

  • 10+ years of securities industry experience

  • 5+ years of budget management experience

  • 9+ years of business systems analysis or design experience

  • 5+ years of experience coaching and developing a team

  • 5+ years of leadership or management experience

  • 7+ years of MS SQL server experience

  • 9+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience


Desired Skills



  • Knowledge and understanding of technology business systems analysis or design in capital markets and investment banking

  • Knowledge and understanding of operational work flows/processes for capital markets and investment banking, including industry participants

  • Knowledge and understanding of industry regulations for developing technological solutions

  • 3+ years of Agile experience
