The Sr. Training Manager will be part of a friendly and experienced team operating in a dynamic and fast paced environment. This is a hands-on leadership role in which you will manage a large client and or clients in the training program for our software, ultimately leading a team of Technical Writers and Training Specialists. You will be tasked with managing, facilitating and delivering high quality training programs for Vitech s V3 clients. The Sr. Training Manager will determine training objectives and perform analysis of training needs, create training programs, develop a variety of instructional methods, manage client expectations, and coordinate with Vitech s internal resources to prepare for training delivery. The Sr. Training Manager will also be responsible for creating and delivering internal training programs to Vitech employees. You will leverage your leadership and expertise in training and development across multiple clients.

This is a role with high internal executive and external client visibility, with tremendous growth potential!


  • Providing oversight for all aspects of the client training program including, program course development, roll-out planning, coordination with customer Trainers, documentation, coordination with team members

  • Managing, mentoring and coordinating with a team of technical writers and trainers

  • Determines training objectives and performs analysis of training needs

  • Creates training programs, including outlines, PowerPoints, handouts, videos, user guides, and guided practices

  • Ensures quality deliverables through design and testing of all materials

  • Delivers a variety of instructional methods and media that are appropriate to the target audience (trainers, end users, SME s, power users): interactive webinars, just-in-time virtual classrooms that promote attendees participation and collaboration, train-the-trainer sessions, and instructor-led classroom sessions including group presentations and/or briefings

  • Works closely with the Vitech management and project teams to implement training programs to clients

  • Develops and provides training materials that are accurate, current, and contain job-related information for each user group; user guides, manuals, workflow screen shots, job aids, FAQs, etc.

  • Maintains and updates training materials and manuals for each phased-in implementation of systems and processes

  • Main point of contact for all clients training needs

  • Works with client executives to gain buy in on the program

  • Coordinates internal resources to prepare for training delivery e.g., preparation of the training application, data-setup, dry runs


  • At least 7 years of training and documentation experience, via prior team leadership, client management, and people management

  • Strong experience with Instructional Design and the latest training trends

  • Prior experience delivering training programs for a software product company or enterprise custom developed solutions

  • Hands-on experience with a variety of training delivery experiences and strong experience in training development

  • Effective written and verbal communication

  • Ability to review requirements documents, system prototypes, etc., to determine appropriate training content and materials for a system that is currently under development

  • Bachelor s degree in a related field

  • Must be willing to travel part time to client sites
