DESCRIPTION
High school level of knowledge necessary to read physicians' orders and transcribe them correctly. Secretarial/clerical courses preferred. Accurate spelling required. Knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations. Keyboarding and computer skills. Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
