Role: Senior Product Manager

Our client is a well-funded, fast growing food / e-commerce company that has designed a platform to provide a personalized experience for parents to find the healthiest, yet delicious food for their young children. Their model rapidly changes the way parents look at food consumption versus off the shelf products. With a passionate team of founders and high profile investors they are looking to make a difference in the daily lives of many parents who struggle with getting their kids to eat and stay healthy.


As the company s continues to rapidly grow, they are looking to bring on a new Senior Product lead that will work directly with the CEO to own the entire front-end digital experience. By partnering with internal and external stakeholders, you will be creating new features and functionality to enhance the customer s experience, while also improving shopping funnel conversion and the path to purchase. This is an opportunity to be a product leader in a close-knit, collaborative environment.


Responsibilities:


Actively finding new ways to improve the front-end, eCommerce digital experience
Proactively identify gaps in the current digital product experience and lead the effort to develop solutions for continuous improvement
Lead sprint planning, collaborating closely with the engineering team on a daily basis
Manage projects and a team of freelancers to bring new features to life
Work cross-functionally
Analyze metrics to evaluate performance of features and determine improvements, using internal and external data, benchmarks and best practices to identify, monitor and deliver solutions
Define and manage the product roadmap and release plan, managing expectations with stakeholders
Synthesize product requirements from a variety of internal and external resources and convey product requirements through various platforms
Communicate the product vision to the development team and maximize the value of each sprint and release by ensuring the backlog is groomed and prioritized according to the overall strategy and product roadmap
Plan and execute A/B testing

Requirements:


5+ years of experience (DTC startup/food/eCommerce subscription preferred)
Experience with modern web architecture and agile methodologies
Detail and process-oriented, while maintaining the ability to see the big picture and challenge the traditional path
A positive attitude towards tackling problems and the ability to see other points of view while maintaining a confident direction
Ability to think creatively and form solutions to complex problems and ever-changing business needs, based on data and user research
User-centric mentality and aptitude to extract qualitative insights from user interactions
Ability to effortlessly communicate complex technical challenges into simpler term Experience working in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
