Description Anoplate is looking for a Vice President of Human Resources with experience and the ability to direct the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the human resources function. Design, develop, implement and evaluate Human Resource policies and practices that support the goals, vision, profitability and strategic objectives of Anoplate. This position will require collaboration with senior leadership, management/supervisory and production staff to ensure all functional responsibilities of Human Resource Management are addressed in addition to hands-on responsibility for compliance, benefits, employee communications and relations, and wage and salary administration. Responsibilities: Develop human resource planning models to identify competency, knowledge and talent gaps and develop specific programs to fill the identified gaps. Areas of activity will include talent management through proper succession planning programs for key contributor and management positions, training and development programs for preparing employees for more significant responsibilities. Ensure policies, procedures, and HR programs are consistently administered, aligned with organizational goals, and in compliance with professional standards, state and federal regulatory requirements and laws Maintain records and compile statistical reports about personnel-related data such as hires, transfers, performance appraisals, and absenteeism rates Serve as the strategic HR leader on current and future trends in areas such as talent, culture, and external implications. Drives innovation towards the future throughout the organization. Drive a worker-centric approach to the workplace, HR, and management practices that impact people on the job. This should include design thinking, an outside-in perspective, and treating the workforce like customers. Manage and develop employee compensation/reward and recognition programs, driving pay-for-performance culture aligned with business objectives. Foster a culture of leader ownership and accountability of the employee life cycle. Serve as a thought leader and trusted counsel to the President to lead continuous and sustainable transformation across the organization. Provide thought leadership to the organization on talent strategy and design, organizational culture, leadership capabilities and employee relations. Utilize financial understanding and leverage business acumen to provide solutions with both risk and financial impacts. Ensure timely communication of trends, problems, key issues and general concerns, and make corresponding recommendations for evaluation and consideration. Inspire followership among their leadership team and the broader organization, connecting people to the organizations vision. Empower high-quality decision making and breakthrough strategies through a firm grasp of the competitive landscape. Highly adaptable, embracing and leading through new ideas and change. Requirements Bachelors degree in human resources or a related field. MBA or Masters degree preferred. PHR/SPHR/SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP certification desired. Minimum experience of 10-15 years progressive human resources experience required, with 5 years in a management capacity. Previous manufacturing or manufacturing-related experience desired. Candidate must possess strong leadership and organizational skills to be successful in this role, and must display excellent communication (both written and verbal), time management, project planning, and team development skills.
