SUMMARY The Data Classification Program Manager (DCPM) is a key role in the effective execution of the ANSYS data classification program, including the implementation of controls, development of metrics, and planning, driving, and ensuring completion of key activities within this program. The scope of responsibility will span all areas of the program and initiatives. The DCPM oversees the development of the program roadmap and creation of and reporting on metrics for roadmap milestones, shapes governance processes and initiatives to align cross-functional teams, has day-to-day management oversight of the initiatives driving compliance and governance within the program. This includes actively planning various aspects of the program, including development of the initiatives needed to accomplish the established outcomes; working to populate and maintain system and data inventories across the organization; harmonizing various program components across business functions; managing roadmap and program interdependencies, as well as interdependencies with separate initiatives managed by IT and the CRM team; and project sequencing in order to best deliver on the data classification program initiatives while considering operational constraints.RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable to business stakeholders for established schedule, budget, and quality of all program elements. Escalates decisions to Director responsible for the data classification program, as necessary. Keeps close, direct contact with IT and other stakeholders and business partners to ensure that activities deliver the expected outcomes and contribute to strategic decisions and milestones on the data classification roadmap. Ensures timely completion of projects; maps any independencies or effects on roadmap milestones as a consequence of missing an established timeline for completion. Acts as the communications conduit to stakeholders and the cybersecurity working group; conducts periodic briefings and status update presentations, as needed. Leads risk assessment and audit activities related to the projects and maintains documentation of all assessment and audit findings, together with metrics for project and roadmap milestones. Participates in the definition, documentation, deployment, and any training aspects of the data classification program, including program management processes, procedures, tools, and metrics across the enterprise. Ensures alignment of project schedules and deliverables to meet data classification program objectives. Creates project status reports and program-level status reporting, including presentations of reports for enterprise stakeholders. Provides clear guidance for business teams responsible for the projects; collaborates with stakeholders to problem-solve any deficiencies in meeting program milestones.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree A minimum of 7 years leadership in a data intensive field, with experience setting priorities and driving for results across simultaneous initiatives A minimum of 5 years project manager experience leading cross-functional projects with both short-term and long-term deliverables Strong understanding of project management concepts, processes, practices, procedures and development of metrics to drive and document program milestones Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to focus on details with big picture perspective and to align milestones of individual projects within a program roadmap with the milestones of the program overall and those of related initiatives led by other teams Experience working with global teams and developing programmatic solutions to meet requirements across a multi-national companyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Able to work independently with minimal supervision and to actively drive project completion across teams Strong knowledge of the data protection and management concepts and requirements Proactively plans for managing and mitigating project risks Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills Proven track record of consistently meeting goals and objectives throughout a sustained project roadmap Experience designing PM processes, developing templates and metrics, and training users Able to communicate technical issues in a non-technical manner to a diverse audience Experience maintaining detailed program documentation, including project workflows and mapping of individual initiatives against a long-term program roadmapCULTURE AND VALUES Culture and values are incredibly important to ANSYS.
