A leading Media, Marketing and Advertising Company in Manhattan seeking a Senior Financial Reporting Analyst. Main responsibility is to partner with the Controller and Assistant Controller to ensure the integrity and accuracy of all financial reporting. The role is heavy on both reporting and analysis and requires close partnership and communication with all offices and the regional COO/CFO?s. Help ensure that all reporting deadlines are met and that all accounting transactions are in-line with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as corporate financial policies. This role requires knowledge of accounting and familiarity with key controls that ensure the integrity of the underlying accounting records. Responsibilities include: Help to coordinate, organize and communicate with all network offices to ensure timely and accurate reporting of financials. This includes annual plans, monthly forecasts and month-end actual reported results. Create, maintain and communicate annual financial reporting calendar for the network. Assist Controller and Assistant Controller with a complete review, together with the performance of analytical procedures, on all P&L?s (monthly) and balance sheets (quarterly) from every office. Helping to assist and direct local offices regarding questions and issues around accounting transactions, classification, treatment, etc. Submit monthly consolidated financial statements to the parent company Manage global monthly inter-company reconciliations of receivables and payables Manage monthly submission of Profit & Loss to US parent company. Includes creating journal entries, opening purchase orders and maintaining corporate accruals for outstanding liabilities. Assist with management and maintenance of the Group budget. Assist with Sarbanes Oxley quarterly internal testing. Assist with analyzing and reporting performance metrics including standard operational indicators of the business on a monthly basis and report findings to Leadership. Help to deliver, ad hoc financial analysis or requests Coordinate with departments including treasury, tax, legal, internal audit, corporate accounting, etc., when necessary for any issues in these areas. Assist with directing specific accounting for equity transactions from other IB-offices including dividends, restricted stock, etc. Help to ensure and direct effective use of working capital including monthly analysis and review, and follow up with all units regarding deficiencies. Skills/Looking for: Bachelor in Accounting 2-7 years of experience in Accounting/Finance. Open to public accounting with NON FS clients. Corporate Accountant or Financial Analyst coming from NON FS industry CPA/CMA preferred
