Our client, a quickly-growing, $1.7B family of companies and among the top contract culinary companies in the country, has retained our services to locate top talent for Business Development Directors' opportunities in its Healthcare segment with territories ranging from the east coast to North Dakota. Known for culinary innovation and providing exemplary service, our client is a disrupter in the market who is 'Small enough to careandBig enough to make a difference'.

In this role, you will build strong relationships with potential new clients that lead to new business in targeted geographies and customer types within the Healthcare segment (retirement facilities, senior living facilities, and hospitals). You will also engage in selected strategic initiatives to retain or expand current client relationships.

You would be responsible for the sales process through contract negotiations and signature to include, identifying and cultivating prospects aligned to the business unit strategy, designing and communicating compelling solutions for clients, developing proposal pieces that address RFP requirements to secure new business, and preparing and conducting compelling presentations to the market in order to demonstrate the company's distinctive capabilities. Responsibilities would also include developing relationships with industry contacts, working closely with the segment sales VP, VP of Operations, CFO, and Director of Operations to coordinate the overall sales process, cultivating continued customer relationships after contract execution, and proactively leading the retention activities of strategic accounts.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in Strategic/Contract Services sales in the Healthcare industry
  • Prefer food service/culinary arts industry experience
  • Possess professionalism and passion for customer and client relations
  • Ability to think strategically and operate autonomously
  • Successful record of meeting/exceeding sales goals year over year
  • Ability to travel 50-75% of the time
