Position Summary: As the Chain Account Executive, you will be responsible for building on current account relationships, developing potential new account relationships, and driving strategic sales growth. You will use your insights and our tools to ensure product ordering, promote product programs, and exceed established goals. A successful candidate will have effectively demonstrated the ability to influence, provide a unique perspective, and understand the competitive landscape. Position Responsibilities : Fostering and developing key accounts relationships. Creating and tracking sales plans to gain new key account business. Planning and achieving Core-Marks goals and objectives for sales, distribution, and service. Promoting programs, new products, and specials to buyers. Ensuring that key accounts are strategically growing sales. Discovering new opportunities to increase sales among accounts. Monitoring accounts to ensure customers are meeting payment options and resolving occurrences. Arranging pick-ups, processing returned products, and preparing related documentation. Maintaining detailed notes related to sales activities. Collaborating with sales teams on initiatives and providing recommendations of sales plans. Maintaining knowledge on product information, programs, and initiatives. Collaborating with Food Services to enhance product placement and product line. Responding to a variety of product inquires and requests within scope of authority. Reviewing customer sales activities and providing recommendations on marking, margins, etc. Preparing reports and presentations related to sales and other related activities. Working with teams across Core-Mark regarding maintenance of equipment, growth of food sales, and store sets on a continuous basis to enhance the customer experience. Skills & Experiences: 4 year college degree in a related field or equivalent field experience. 3-5 years of sales experience and account management. Ability to work in the field a majority of the time; managing reports and customer base. Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, current auto insurance, and with clean driving record. Excellent customer service, negotiation and communication skills, and industry knowledge. Proficient computer and Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.), specifically with data analysis.
