As the National Account Director ? Northeast, you will be responsible for developing and leveraging relationships with National Commercial and Regional Health Plans, gain/maintain access for DBV Technologies' products and implement short and long-term business plans which will optimize appropriate formulary coverage and patient access to DBV?s product for peanut allergy. Additionally, you will assess sales implications of short and long-term actions with each payer customer and take appropriate action to shift payer decisions in a direction which continues to open patient formulary access for DBV. These actions will be the result of building strong relationships with payer Medical Directors, Pharmacy Directors and other key stakeholders. Efforts will include working with national and regional managed care organizations to execute access and contracting strategies, develop pull-through initiatives with DBV Field Sales and Marketing and provide periodic market updates to DBV management linking important payer and health care reform trends impacting the business. Responsibilities: Implement strategies and tactics to support formulary placement and reimbursement across payer customers Negotiate Payer contracts allowing access to our products by providers and their patients Maintain responsibility for sales performance and trends in assigned Payers Create clear messages for dissemination to DBV management on important payer trends, reimbursement changes, and formulary positioning affecting product utilization Represent the DBV Managed Markets business unit at industry meetings Maintain accurate account information in customer database and dashboard Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; Master?s/advanced degree preferred 10 years field-based pharmaceutical/biotech Sales and/or Marketing experience with 5 years of direct national account management experience required Established relationships with Pharmacy Directors and Medical Directors within ESI/Cigna required Therapeutic experience in Allergy/Immunology preferred Demonstrated knowledge of payer decision-making formulary processes, coverage, coding, and billing and negotiating Payer contracts and agreements Ability to travel 50% travel
