Cosmetics is looking for an innovative, creative and collaborative Manager, Product Development. Reporting directly to the VP, R&D, this position is based in our Oakland corporate office.As the Manager, Product Development, you will lead product development for specific segments of our cosmetic innovation and quality improvement programs engaging cross-functional teams as necessary to drive project execution. This role plays a critical role driving commercialization of new products working closely with cross-functional team members in both Oakland and with our R&D team in our e.l.f. China office to deliver finalized products to market. You will also spend a great deal of time adapting and applying scientific principles to new situations/products and to deliver products that meet the e.l.f. standard of delivering guilt-free products so everyone can own their beauty, without compromise.The ideal candidate is someone who embraces e.l.f.’s dynamic culture of executing with speed and quality to drive solutions. You need to be someone who can work collaboratively bringing 5+ years of product development and commercialization experience – if that experience is in the Beauty industry that’s a significant plus. We are also looking for someone with experience working in multi-cultural, multi-national teams who can also manage multiple assignments/tasks concurrently with the ability to prioritize work for themselves and others. We are also looking for someone with a BS in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Science or related field or equivalent degree required. Finally, the ideal hire will be someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as a team player comfortable with collaboration across all parts of the business.
