EMX is looking for a proven entrepreneurial leader to be its Director of Demand Strategy & Partnerships. This role will help to develop and refine demand side strategy while focusing on strategic programmatic demand side relationships both domestically and internationally. They will be a major player working with EMX s demand and product team to define and execute the focused sales strategy. Significantly growing and integrating new demand side partnerships is fundamental to the individual s success and is also a key driver to EMX s corporate strategy.

  • Ability to develop a sales strategy; identify, manage, and build key client relationships key programmatic buying platforms.
  • Ability to maintain and build deeper partnerships with active demand partners across the EMX marketplace.
  • Engage directly with all clients - high in-person interaction to develop true high value partnerships that drive mutual value.
  • Successfully collaborate with other key business leads to drive optimal results for both our demand and publisher partners across our EMX marketplace.
  • High expectations & extremely self-motivated: exceed revenue/margin targets through active strategic selling, high level of customer service & account guidance, managing program goals and establishing expectations for existing and new clients.
  • Provide guidance which helps to improve the products sold by EMX to its major programmatic demand partners specifically Agencies, Trading Desks & DSP''s.
  • Merge data with media to create a more robus products and offerings for EMX Demand side partners.
  • Business Development work to identify 3rd party vendors (DMP''s, data providers, other partners) to help achieve the product goals
  • Meet with and identify client pain points and needs both short and long term to build stronger relationships with buyers
  • Provide guidance which will enhance the overall EMX buy side exchange product line
  • Proven track record of driving success for top DSP, ATD, Brands, Agencies, or major demand side partners.
  • Specific success in driving direct server to server integrations is a major plus.
  • Working knowledge of Open Real Time Bidding (ORTB) protocol
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly technical environment & work collaboratively with the Technical Development, Marketing, Product, Sales, and Operations teams.
  • Deep experience in understanding and leveraging data to drive informed buying decisions
  • Strong knowledge of the digitall eco-system and how to connect all the dots and navigate through all the variations of what advertisers/agencies are approached with daily (DSP, Networks, Vertical Networks, SSPs, Marketplaces, Video, Mobile, etc).
  • Deep understanding of digital media technology with a passion for emerging technologies and an understanding of how they might be harnessed to drive profitability
