Radiology physician employment in Ohio : Nocturnist Radiology opening in Ohio Located in Portsmouth OH Full time, permanent job Overnight shift OPPORTUNITY: Looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Radiologist to join our well established, hospital employed multispecialty group. Schedule is 14 on/ 14 off, could be 7 on/7 off schedule. M-F 8p-6a and Sat/Sun 6p-6a. No call. Fellowship trained in MSK or Cross-Sectional preferred. COMPENSATION: - Base salary range of $455,700 - $572,500 compensation for experience. 2-year contract also includes: - CME/Books & Journals: up to $5000 - Deferred compensation: 457b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $19,000 year before taxes. No matching. - Retirement / Savings Plan: 403b plan. Defer compensation up to IRS limit of $19,000 year before taxes under age 50 and $25,000 for over age 50. SOMC matches dollar for dollar up to 2% of base pay. - Moving Expense: $10,000 paid to moving company - Malpractice Insurance Coverage: in a claims made insurance, in an amount of $1,000,000, per claim/$3,000,000, aggregate - Health Insurance: physician pays small premium, deducted from paycheck - Liquidated Damages: 70 mile and 2 year non-compete clause or liquidated damages of one year salary - Medical School Loan Repayment: repay up to $200,000 ($25,000 per year for each year of service commitment) - Residency Stipend: up to $25,000 (requires up to 2 year service commitment) - Sign on Bonus: 15% of base salary up to $100,000 (paid when contract signed and forgiven over 2-4 years depending on amount of bonus) - Bonus Incentives: excellent bonus incentives up to 30% of salary Office Hours/Work Schedule - Schedule is 14 on/ 14 off, could be 7 on/7 off schedule - M-F 8p-6a and Sat/Sun 6p-6a - N - call Staffing - 11 Radiologists when fully staffed - Full complement of CT, Diagnostic Radiology and Ultrasound staff members 24/7. Nuclear Medicine and MRI staff members available 6 days/week with call coverage. Breast Center and PET/CT are available M-F - Technologists have additional certifications in their modality Case Load - Reading volume: 120 per day CT-all the basics plus carotid, Circle of Willis, AAA, Run-offs - Daily volume: 40 X-ray-all the basic exams plus an occasional STAT LP - Daily volume: 60 MRI-all the basic exams and MSK - Daily volume: 1-5 Nuclear Medicine-V/Q, GI Bleeds - Daily volume: 1-5 Ultrasound-all the basics plus GB, Appendix, Pylorus, TV for Ectopic/Missed Ab - Daily volume - 5-10 - 150,000 multi-modality exams annually - Modalities are completely digital with ACR (American College of Radiology) accreditation, BICOE (Breast Imaging Center of Excellence) accreditation through ACR, NAPBC (National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers) through American College of Surgeons Equipment - All equipment is ACR Accredited - 3 Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T - 1 Siemens Mangetom Aera 3.0T - 2 Siemens Edge - 2 Siemens Force Dual Tube - 1 Philips Ingenuity 128 - 1 Philips 256 iCT Practice Expectations - Preferred fellowship trained in Musculoskeletal or Cross-Sectional. - Ability t - read variety of exams Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
