Shares a desire to understand their business and category almost as well as they do. Inspires clients to further push both their thinking and work. Has an ability to always look ahead and help lead and manage both client and the agency. A love for solving problems calmly and strategically is critical to the make up of their DNA. Has experience and is comfortable in leading business in a cross functional discipline often times working with other agency partners. Being self confident and having a collaborative style is essential as is having a focus on leadership and mentoring of internal teams through cooperation, respect and integration. Strong understanding of account P&L and what allows for account growth must be at the core of an Account Director. Is very much accountable for health of the account and strength of agency relationship. What you’ll be doing: Providing big picture strategic thinking, vision and insights to drive potential ideas and put them into action; this includes the development of accountable plans that deliver on Clients business objectives Leading cross-functional teams in a fast paced environment with confidence and poise. Managing the needs of team members to maximize learning, personal development and productivity. Ensuring the timely delivery of performance reviews and compensation Demonstrating collaborative leadership styles that promotes team cooperation, relationship building and integration Collaborate with finance to manage account P&L, account growth, client satisfaction and retention. Responsible for the development of client staff plans, statements of work, and compensation agreements As an Account Director, people look to you to foster the best, most dynamic opportunities that allow for growth, great work and team members to thrive.
