You as an RN Unit Manager are to ensure that all the nursing services personnel are following their respective job descriptions. You must participate in Facility surveys (inspections) made by authorized government agencies as requested by the Administrator or Director of Nursing. We are looking to hire a dynamic, energetic and exceptional RNs for our skilled nursing facility. We need a self-starter, skilled at communication and who is a positive motivator. RN Positions Available: + RN Unit Manager- Full Time + RN Sub-acute Unit Manager- Full Time + RN Unit Manager Evening Shift (3pm-11pm)- Full Time + RN Unit Manager Night Shift (11pm-7am)- Full Time RN (Registered Nurse ) Unit Manager duties include: + Monitor medication passes and treatment schedules to ensure that medications are being administered as ordered and that treatments are provided as scheduled. + Provide direct nursing care, as necessary. + Participate in the development of written preliminary and comprehensive assessments of the nursing needs of each resident. + Working with the MDS Department to ensure all needed documentation is compiled as scheduled. + Manage EMR board + Ensure that all staff have signed EMR for all duties performed before end of shift + Run daily EMR reports as needed to ensure accuracy/completeness of documentation. + Contact MD and families as needed to notify of change in condition. + Investigate all accidents/Incidents and compile necessary documentation to ensure abuse has not occurred + Preforms and document physical assessments on all new admissions, re-admissions and/or residents with changes in clinical status + Initiate care plan as needed RN (Registered Nurse ) Unit Manager Qualifications: + RN ( Registered Nurse ) license in the state of NY + Minimum of 2 years in a Long Term Care Facility is required for this position If working with people who are caring and compassionate and who treat their residents needs as their own is important to you, then you'll want to be a part of our team!
