Facebook's Marketing Science organization is working to become the experts in evolving marketing and advertising strategies for our customers' big and small through data, research, and science. As such, it needs help with operational processes, program management and execution, and activation against our highest priority work with our biggest and most influential customer base. We are hiring a Program Manager to partner with our Client Measurement organization to plan and oversee the execution of activation strategies against key advertising and measurement issues facing our clients, partners, and the advertising industry at-large. They will develop execution plans, maintain accountability, and ensure progress is made against key performance indicators (KPI). They will serve as the main point of contact on select issues for the highest priority client set and be the primary conduit for engagement across functional teams with Marketing Science and Facebook on these issues. They will package up research, business decisions, and strategic views in scalable programs to bring to our advertiser set. They will also support planning and prioritization efforts in partnership with leadership across the organization, building action plans and support on key initiatives as needed.

This position requires a high attention to detail in planning and prioritization, a willingness to jump in and own complex, and at times nebulous topics, and the ability to execute and drive a set of programs and initiatives across stakeholders. A successful candidate will be an experienced professional in the field of advertising measurement, with very strong program management and communication skills. Candidates should feel comfortable managing cross-functional stakeholders and projects, developing and executing against KPIs, and shifting resources and tactics to adapt to difficulties or failures in plan execution. Since the position is new, they must be proactive in their work and able to operate without direct instructions. The ideal candidate is able to work cross-functionally and influence team's prioritization process, road-mapping, and long-term planning. This position is full-time and is based in our Menlo Park or New York office.
RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Work cross-functionally across the Client Measurement team to develop execution plans, timelines, and deliverables for our external engagement with key industry stakeholders and influencers.




  • Develop and execute multi-phased strategies over long periods of time in pursuit of often in-tangible goals.




  • Ensure accountability against key performance indicators.




  • Shape internal cross-functional planning processes and influence key decision makers outside of direct reporting chains and/or organization.




  • MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


  • 3+ years of advertising measurement experience and/or account management or program management experience.




  • Experience taking initiative and seeking opportunities, relationships, and partnerships with senior stakeholders and experience communicating across varying levels of seniority.




  • Experience setting priorities, problem-solving, multi-tasking, and working independently in a workplace.




  • Experience collaborating with and influencing all levels of stakeholders and cross-functional partners.




  • Experience working autonomously to influence decisions across and upwards within an organization.




  • Experience with delivering results.




  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


  • Degree in statistics, economics, or other quantitatively focused subject areas.




  • Knowledge of advertising and/or measurement methods and technologies.
