The PMO Test Analyst is a position within the IT Planning & Portfolio Management department and supports successful IT project execution.
This position will report to the Manager Methodology, and will be responsible for the following:
Facilitate a continuous improvement process for the Test Framework within Project Management Methodology (PMM) specifically for a transition to Agile delivery and Test Automation Evaluate Test Framework effectiveness in helping projects meet IT delivery goals and objectives Identify process improvements based on project test metrics and lessons learned Plan and implement test process improvements Develop and deliver training and communication on test processes Assisting in coaching project managers on industry best practices Responsive and timely issue resolution Ensure proper traceability between test scripts and requirements within Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Audit project test results within ALM to confirm standards defined within the test framework are being followed by project delivery teams Subject matter expert for best practices within ALM and Jira
Deployment of effective test processes and adoption of process changes Delivery of training that supports effective and repeatable project test execution Subject Matter leadership of the test framework Strong fact-based recommendations for continuous improvement Creation and deployment of standardized processes, tools, and templates Collaborative business partner relationships Succinct, impactful, polished executive level presentations Enhanced test processes, tools, templates, and training

Proactively performs impact analysis and "what-if" modeling for the active projects. Provides recommendations based on scenario analysis and leads the implementation, as appropriate. Utilizes and promotes the use of standardized templates; creates new templates and recommends future enhancements. Develops and monitors post-implementation reporting for further refinement and sustainability. Demonstrates our commitment to quality by documenting work fully and accurately. Compiles, organizes and formats data, including qualitative analysis required for internal (IT) and external reporting Composes clear, direct, concise, and complete verbal & written messages; Summarizes and presents information in executive level presentations Stays focused and meets productivity standards, deadlines, and work schedules. Seeks and acquires new competencies, work methods, ideas, and information that will improve own efficiency and effectiveness on the job. Lead Analyst :
7+ years of experience in test planning and execution as a project manager, test lead, lead business analyst or a related role on multiple projects with a total budget of >$1M and a duration of at least 8 months OR in audit, regulatory or compliance fields with focus on IT project delivery. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in related discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Accounting, Finance, Economics) Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience with Microfocus Application Lifecycle Management (ALM). This is formerly known as HP ALM. Demonstrated Knowledge and Experience with Jira Knowledge and experience with testing and test frameworks including manual test script execution, performance test and test automation Demonstrated experience in leading multiple process improvement initiatives Work independently in multiple functional domains Assist in development and coaching of other team members Excellent written and verbal communication Strong experience with MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio) Aptitude for attention to detail, accuracy, precision and logic Demonstrated strong process orientation and analytical/problem solving skills Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus Strong experience with Service Now PPM is a plus Utilities Industry experience is a plus.
