Director of Marketing Syracuse, N What you will be doing: Partner with marketing leadership to execute against the overall marketing and brand strategy for the company Provide day-to-day guidance to a growing marketing staff Concept, develop, manage and measure marketing initiatives and programs that generate demand and grow customer base Strengthen the brand by setting content strategy, developing robust content and leading campaigns across social media, PR, and digital marketing Help develop and execute thought leadership strategy, initiatives and content to enhance brand reputation and innovation in the industry Manage and coordinate presence at industry trade shows and events Collaborate with sales and product teams on customer support, resource development and brand stewardship Support internal and external product marketing efforts aimed at improving sales team effectiveness and strengthening credibility and influence in the market Provide brand governance and stewardship across the organization Required Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while solving problems quickly and creatively Superior analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to translate into an executable strategic plan Exceptional content strategy and content development/writing skills Strong understanding of and experience with marketing automation, digital omnichannel and CRM platforms Previous event management experience highly desired Ability to influence, persuade and effectively work cross-functionally and up and down the organization with a wide range of different skill sets Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication (written and verbal) skills Superior time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Ability to successfully work independently and as a team member with a positive, customer first attitude Ability to learn quickly, lead, react to and adapt to change Required Experience: Bachelor's degree required, ideally in marketing, communications or relevant discipline. Minimum 8-10 years' progressive growth in brand marketing. B2B experience a plus. 3-5 years' experience with digital/omnichannel marketing.
