Position Description
FEAM is seeking a Director of Quality that will lead the Quality Management System in a newly constructed FEAM hangar facility at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable rules, regulations, organizational standards, and quality expectations in all Company operations.
Directly oversees the Chief Inspector and Quality Assurance personnel at the FEAM's CVG location.
Ensure that quality department objectives are established, managed, remain current, and are updated or revised as necessary for the CVG operation.
Act as designated liaison for regulatory bodies and accrediting organizations and Interface with Customers on Quality issues
Develop and maintain regulatory manuals, documentation and records
Responsible for conducting risk assessments of the impact of proposed organizational and operational changes on existing and new processes and procedures within the quality department and assist in the development and implementation of mitigation strategies to eliminate or reduce identified risks.
Develop, maintain and perform internal audits
Develop and maintain the corrective/preventive action system and ensure follow-up and closure of corrective/preventive action Requests, as well as verification ofeffectiveness
Ensures that all inspections are properly performed on all completed work and that proper inspection records, reports and forms, used by the repair station are properly executed prior to returning any component to service.
Assures that all technical data used to inspect or repair aircraft, engines or component parts are current. Such data will include, but not limited to, manufacturers Maintenance manuals, Overhaul manuals where applicable, Structural Repair manuals, IPCs, NDT Manuals, Service Bulletins, and other prescribed technical data.
Assures that periodic checks are made on all inspection tools and the calibration of precision test equipment used by the repair station. Maintains the special tools and precision test equipment calibration program on a current basis.
Assures that no defective, unserviceable, or non-airworthy parts are installed on any aircraft or component part thereof that is returned to service by the repair station.
Submits reports of defects and non- airworthy conditions to the local FAA Flight Standard District Office in accordance with 14 CFR Part 145.221.
Assures that the FAA Form 337 and/or the FEAM Maintenance Release are properly executed.
Assures that all incoming material, including new parts, pass a receiving inspection.
Complies with the preliminary, hidden damage, in progress, and final inspection of all components processed by the repair station and records results on the appropriate discrepancy work item card.
Provides for the continuity of inspection responsibility, assuring completion of required inspections when shift assignment changes.
Maintains files of records of all maintenance and inspections in such a manner that the file corresponding to a specific item inspected and repaired can be readily located for review.
Ensures that the outside repair agency and subcontractor approval program including the inspections, as required, of their facilities is accomplished.
Reviews and approves work to be performed for 14 CFR Part 121,125, 135 and foreign 129 operators to ensure that 14 CFR Part 145.205 is strictly adhered to.
Ensures that the Approved Vendor List is maintained in a current status.
Responsible for the Quality Assurance Program in accordance with the Repair Station Manual.
Report and improve all Quality-related KPI's
Ensure all direct reports maintain currency and competency appropriate for their duties, through continuing education and training as appropriate.
Other duties as assigned by the Vice President of Safety & Quality.

Five years' experience in aircraft Quality Assurance Programs
Experience with Federal Regulations as they apply to the Aviation Industry
FAA Airframe and Powerplant License
Experience in Line Maintenance and Heavy Check operations
Proficiency in the use of PC Windows business software (Microsoft Office Preferred)
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
