The Position: We’re looking for an Account Executive to help accelerate GreenBiz’s strategic growth. Primary responsibilities include: Generate/manage a sales territory and pipeline and achieve sales quota focused on selling thought leadership products to marketing, communications and sustainability leaders at large companiesEstablish and maintain key senior level relationships with existing customers and prospectsQualify and engage customers/prospects by identifying objectives and conveying a clear value proposition through compelling phone-based and in-person sales meetingsPrioritize, create and manage high volume of clear, concise sales proposals by strategically packaging, pricing and addressing customer objectives Demonstrate knowledge and passion for sustainability related topics including clean energy, technology, infrastructure, transportation, circular economy and moreCollaborate internally and externally while balancing revenue targets with customer service needsAdditional responsibilities include:Develop compelling email and phone-based prospecting campaigns that are timely and relevantAttend local and national networking events for prospecting and relationship buildingMaintain and manage all activities in Salesforce and leverage other sales/marketing tools including Linkedin, Marketo and othersComfort with public speaking, presentations and/or event session moderation a bonusRequirements2-5 years experience in sales, business development, customer success, consulting, cleantech and/or startups Ability to work independently, deliver results and address customer objectives Existing knowledge and contacts of corporate sustainability, energy, cleantech and/or related industry a bonus Possess excellent verbal and written communication skillsMaintain an eye for detail, high level of organizational skills and ability to multi-taskBA or equivalent preferred.
