A growing NYC general contractor specializing in Commercial Interiors is looking to add an experienced Assistant Superintendent to their field team. The successful candidate will have had experience assisting the Superintendent with managing all construction activities on the project site and ensure compliance with all contract documents, internal policies and procedures related to the project. RESONSIBILITIES Help administer and monitor the project safety program, perform daily job site walks, and manage day-to-day operations ensuring work is completed in accordance with quality standards Will be responsible to build, maintain and manage schedules as well as coordinate workflow with all project related subcontractors, assisting the Superintendent with all aspects of the project to ensure it is delivered on time, within budget and exceeds client expectations. SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors? degree in Construction Management with 1-3 years? experience in the construction field Understands building plans and specs Safety standards knowledge and enforcement Self-starter with ability to set goals and tasks with strong leadership skills
