…then start a career with the igus sales team! We are seeking a motivated sales professional who is excited to work with a global leader in engineered plastics. You will help enhance customer applications and transform industries ranging from solar technology to automotive manufacturing, making a major impact on a variety of businesses as well as our own.
Responsibilities: -Application engineering and product design assistance for new and existing customers (technical training provided) -Maintaining existing customers while prospecting and finding new customers -Creating and delivering customized sales proposals -Making customer visits, 3-4 days of local travel per week
Qualifications: -Strong technical skills: ability to understand technical concepts and provide hands-on demonstrations with our products -Bachelor’s degree preferred -Previous experience in technical or industrial sales preferred -Keen organizational, computer, communication, market research, cold-calling, sales, and closing skills -Familiarity with an industrial/manufacturing environment a plus -Sales certificate in professional selling preferred -Valid U.S. driver’s license
