Position Description:Performs customer service functions by managing the HR shared email address and answering general staff requests and/or questionsProvides administrative support to Owner/President, and ManagersRecruit, train, and develop staff ensuring all positions are filled in a timely manner with qualified personnelReviews the Employee Handbook with all employees during the new hire on-boarding process and ensure understanding of company policies in the handbookEnsures that all employees accurately understand schedule guidelines, time and attendance guidelines, meal break policy, leave policy and expectations pertaining to written schedule/scheduling switches.Reviews employee schedules, with a strong focus on meal break compliance, auditing hours discrepancies, and confirming employee authorization of punch adjustmentsEnsures PTO is documented and posted in payroll systemAssists the management team in all labor/employee relations issues in conjunction with the Management and outside legal counsel as directedAssist with interviews, investigations, disciplinary actions, and provides HR support as guided by outside legal counselEnsures compliance for all laws and regulations related to Human Resources and Employment /Labor, including posting of all legal safety and legal documentsMaintains accurate, current personnel and human resources filesAccident / Incident reporting and trackingMaintains open jobs requisitions, application and interview processOrganizes benefit enrollment packets/information for new hiresAssist with coordination of annual health insurance open enrollment processAssists in the implementation of all laws, regulations and policies regarding, employment practices, safety rules and all other company policies and proceduresProvides assistance with implementation of safety and security programsAssists the management with various research projects and/or special projects as assignedFinancial AccountabilityAssists in the development, implementation and maintenance of internal controls and procedures that provide operation and fiscal control, cost savings, projections, planning, forecasting and effective utilization of assets and propertiesCommunication and RelationshipsEffectively and professionally interacts and communicates with senior management, managers, other employees, vendors, members, senior staff, owners, and clientsPromote harmonious relations among members, staff, vendors, and the community at-large.Corporate Goals & ObjectivesHelps to promote the company safety goals and actively work towards ensuring a safe working environment.Interpret and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.Actively further the company objectives and continuously support improvement and positive change.Make professional development a consistent priorityPosition RequirementsCandidate must have a Bachelors Degree and 3+ years in Human ResourcesCandidate must be self-motivated and be able to work with little supervision. Ideal candidate has good conflict resolution skills, patience and listening skills.Candidate must have knowledge in Microsoft Office Word, Powerpoint and Excel.Candidate much have ability to interact with employees on all levels is required.
