Primary Responsibilities:

Risk Control Officer to facilitate daily/weekly/quarterly Credit/Market operations and reporting process, process engineering, administration, disclosure, data mining and global Credit/Market risk Initiatives. Risk is seeking an ambitious team member to facilitate and coordinate efforts for a compilation of operations and processes, globally

Required Background:

  • Daily VaR Reporting
  • Update procedure documents as needed and document new procedures
  • Primary support on disclosure, press releases and firmwide quarterly data mining, analysis, coordination and reporting.
  • Provide support to the Credit/Market Risk Officers and work closely with global initiatives.
  • Assist in AdHoc projects pertaining to risks, risk statistics, trading activities, risk monitoring and other initiatives.
  • Involve in IT projects, database and risk infrastructure development.
  • Ability to discuss and relay information on data analysis to other risk managers.
  • Work on new projects as directed.
  • Work with market and credit data, feeds and production support.
  • Work with third-party applications concerning reporting and risk analytics
  • Utilize and learn third party pricing engines, such as Risk Metrics to execute daily functions.
  • Firmwide Backtesting
  • Prepare Risk Weekly/quarterly/monthly slides and presentations.
  • Regional regulatory and audit liaison.
  • Provide credit/market risk input into new business initiatives.
  • Monitoring counterparty exposures and performance.
  • Managing credit risk exposures, including country exposure and impaired assets.
  • Automation of existing reporting routines, reducing the risk of manual error.
  • Ownership of routine reporting ensuring that information is delivered on time, is accurate and remains relevant to the business need.
  • Knowledge of Collateral margining and legal documentation (ISDA, CSA, GMRA etc..)
  • Management reporting of credit/market risk exposures and key risk indicators
  • Must be hands-on and have the initiative to take on multiple projects, tasks and duties within a given time frame.


Desired Experience/Skills:

  • Bachelor''s degree required, preferably in one of the following disciplines: financial engineering, computer science (programming), programming, finance or statistical degree
  • Skills: Multitasking, Time Management, Organized, Proficient in SQL and VBA, Database, System implementation, MS Office, strong client relationships, excellent communication, desktop development is highly welcomed
  • Technical Skills: Knowledgeable to construct and develop tactical tools utilizing VBA, SQL, ODBC, Access proficient, Excel proficient, PowerPoint, desktop development. Understand financial math, risk concepts, risk operations quick learner on systems.
