RESPONSIBILITIES: Kforce has a client seeking a Desktop Support Analyst - Mac Products in New York, NY. Responsibilities: First, second, and third line support of Macs Imaging/reimaging and deployment of Mac hardware Work with third parties on warranty work on hardware Advise procurement on purchase of hardware relating to the Macs Attend various meetings for Mac related issues Work with other teams on issue which may impact on the Mac environment Creation of scripts as needed and proactive maintenance scripts Knowledge on Jamf to create images of OS and packages as needed Create and test various software packages for deployment via Jamf Create scripts as needed and proactive maintenance scripts Policy creation within Jamf for updates configuration and proactive maintenance Deploy software as needed via Jamf or manual deployment Remote support of user's base around the world including creation of image to meet the needs of the region the Mac is deployed to Management of software licensing and updating list of blocked software Printer troubleshooting and configuration Maintain Font Explorer upload/remove fonts as needed to comply with license agreements Troubleshoot fonts working with third party Troubleshoot any user or font issues Install client software and license Troubleshoot any issues on client-side software Contribution towards planning and execution towards Mac devices rollouts/upgrades along with any environment upgrade if/as agreed Cross training with other members to offload Mac related L0/L1 tasks to Offshore Mac team and pick up Windows/other FS related Onsite calls to act as Single Field Services team Raise, review, implement and close RFC related to end user device management REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related area) with 5 years of experience on Mac support Relevant certifications on Mac Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or ITIL certification preferred, equivalent certification in relevant programs desired Good verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems like Windows 7/10, Mac OS X 1012/1013/1014 Good knowledge of LAN/WAN networking and TCP/IP ports HTTP, HTTPS and file sharing Mac hardware and operating system troubleshooting experience Imaging/reimaging knowledge for Mac devices New hardware compatibility and testing Application troubleshooting experience/knowledge on Mac devices for Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office, Citrix, etc. Experience/knowledge on Jamf to create images of OS and packages as needed Experience/knowledge on Font Explorer upload/remove fonts as needed Experience/knowledge on MAC devices/environment to provide support towards: File Server access/troubleshooting, Print Queue management, Mobile device management, New hardware compatibility and testing Experience/knowledge on troubleshooting Network issues Experience/knowledge on Bash/Shell Scripting Remote support capabilities to support Mac devices across globe Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
