The Role

The Principal position is the backbone of all of our engagements, connecting numerous moving parts and keeping them aligned to our deliverables and client needs. It requires a mix of strategy execution, project management and change leadership, combined with strong facilitation and interpersonal skills. Managing client relationships across multiple levels of an organization, this position is integral to client retention and expansion.


The Work

  • Scoping and managing of engagements
  • Involved in scoping client engagements and developing appropriate staffing requirements.
  • Manages engagements, or parts of more complex engagements
  • Responsible for producing client deliverables, managing timelines, and delivering against objectives.
  • Design and facilitation of workshops, off-sites, and client sessions involving multiple stakeholders and levels of client organizations.
  • Asset and content development including blogs, white papers, case studies and other tools
  • Client retention and business development activities in a variety of forms: whiteboard sessions, RFP responses, drafting SOWs, etc.

  • A natural ability to build relationships, using both courage and candor in a manner that fosters credibility, trust, and opportunity with clients and colleagues.
  • A collaborator, team player, a leader, with excellent communication skills and a passion for all that you do.
  • Demonstrated role as advisor to multiple levels of an organization, from front line to senior level executives.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree required, with advanced degree or MBA preferred (Business, Finance or related field)
  • 7-15 years of experience / proven track record in an external consulting or business role delivering engagements. Experience with multiple companies/clients is preferred. Experience working at a top consulting firm a strong plus.
  • Change Management Experience at Top four consulting firm for current opening will be given preference
  • Strong client management and/or senior advisory experience
  • Has owned a client engagement or a significant portion of a large engagement.
  • Excellent written and presentation skills
  • Travel is required with this position. Amount is based on project requirements.
