Basic Function: To provide extraordinary service to external lenders/investors by producing detailed, orderly presentations of data, facts, and figures, that can lead an lender/investor to make a well-educated decision about financing requests. Main Responsibilities:Completes mortgage applications for submission to the loan processing and underwriting departmentsEvaluates loan requests, analyze financial data, and determines qualification of collateral and customer credit historyMaintains contact with loan customer, communicating progress of loan and obtaining any required documentationPrepares files for underwriting, loan committee, private mortgage insurance company and investor including preparation of loan approval sheetStructures loan to comply with acceptable lending practices and Federal regulationsEstablishes detailed marketing/business plan including names of potential and existing loan customers, realtors, builders, developers, etc and frequency of contactAnswers customer calls and walk in customers to discuss various loan products and qualification informationMakes sales calls on potential or existing customers as established in plan to develop new business or retain existing businessCross-sells other bank products and servicesReads surveys and appraisals, and takes necessary steps to correct encroachments and violationsMay participate in networking through professional, business and community organizations and activities to promote and market loan productsRequirements Must be willing to work in our Iselin, New Jersey officeMust have ledning relationshipsMust have deal side experience and have worked on structuring deals4 plus years of experience which much include mortgage experience or lending experience Education and Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in a financial analysis environment in the mortgage or healthcare real estate industryBachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, Accounting or related discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills may be acquired.Excellent organizational, interpersonal, quantitative, writing and communication skills; able to interface with top level executives.Strong computer skills with an advanced working knowledge of Excel, Argus and Word.Self-motivated, team-oriented and strong time management skills to prioritize deadlines.Strong research, analytical and problem solving skills.
