The Role:

The Sales Analyst role with Milk Makeup is responsible for compiling and creating reporting for all of Milk Makeup and our business partners. This position reports into the Director of Demand and Merchandise Planning. The position works in partnership with planning and financial analysts to perform analyses, prototype analytical tools, and enable solutions that will empower business users to make better operational, marketing and financial decisions for the company. A successful candidate must have experience in data and analytics and can provide value added perspectives for impactful decision making.

How You ll Thrive

  • Work with cross-functional project teams (Planning, Finance, Marketing, etc) in order to collaborate with different areas of the business to support business partners with ongoing data questions, including explaining available datasets, recommending analytical techniques and assisting with storytelling for management presentations.Leverage advanced analytics and data discovery techniques to explore internal and external data sets to answer strategic business questions.
  • Leverage advanced visualization techniques to assist stakeholders with insightful storytelling using data
  • Create the company''s Business Intelligence and Analytics Process to efficiently identify, prioritize and develop reporting and analytics solutions for the business.

We d like YOU to have:

2-3 years working with data and analytics, financial planning and analysis experience a plus

Demonstrated ability to transform vast amounts of data into analytics, insights and action

Consumer-focused technology and/or ecommerce experience, critical

Consumer products and/or retail industry experience, preferred

Excellent organization, interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Ability to collaborate and drive cross-functional consensus

Be transformative, curious, entrepreneurial, forward-thinking, highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented

Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Finance or Economics is preferred

Mastery in Excel, PowerPoint and financial reporting systems experience; SAP or experience with other ERP systems is a plus
