The Associate Creative Director, Art works closely with the Creative team in producing a high quality creative product for the agency's clients. Along with the account service representatives, the Associate Creative Director maintains contact with the client and presents the team's creative concepts to client representatives. On those accounts under his or her supervision, the Associate Creative Director provides leadership to art directors and copywriters, along with the Creative Director. Required Skills The Associate Creative Director for McCann Health NY will be required to: Create/direct award-worthy work Develop, produce and oversee award-winning creative concepts through execution for a number of brands and/or services Consult with account group, media and strategic planning staff to gather information about a product or service to determine a style and visual expression for the advertising Work with writers/art directors on creative executions for all assigned accounts Present concepts to Executive Creative Director & Group Creative Directors for approval Present approved work to client representatives Supervise the selection of creative suppliers Stay up-to-date on latest trends, talent and competitive work Supervise and evaluate the performance of the creative work assigned to the junior teams under his/her supervision Help to create and maintain morale among team members Any tasks as assigned Required Experience Candidates are expected to have a minimum of: Bachelor's degree required 7+ years experience Experience within HCP Basic experience/understanding of healthcare advertising regulations Proven to be highly creative within those regulations Thorough understanding of print/web/TV production, functionality, information architecture, navigation, email marketing standards, interactive design principles, packaging, and retail displays Able to articulate project feasibility to account management and clients Strong attention to detail and version control The ability to create, articulate and document great consumer/patient/user-centered on and off line experiences Strong understanding of integrated advertising and experience Advanced knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Bridge, Flash, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, PowerPoint, Keynote, Acrobat and FTP protocol Strong typography skills Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Able to articulate project feasibility to account management and clients Strong attention to detail and version control Intermediate level experience working with motion, animation or 3D software Must know pixel image, vector graphics, PDF, EPS, RGB, CMYK, JPEG, tiff, PNG, AI, SVG and more Photo retouching and manipulation skills Portfolio that is forward-thinking and represents a diverse range of design styles across various media Job Location New York, New York, United States Position Type Full-Time/RegularSalary Range: NAMinimum Qualification8 - 10 years
