Leading industry practitioners will bridgeevidence-based science and practice, empowering students to becomemore influential and strategic leaders of change.Job DescriptionThis full-time position is a clinical, one-year renewable facultyappointment. The rank of the position will be determined dependenton candidate's experience and qualifications.A successful candidate will work closely with the Academic Directorto develop and deliver impactful and engaging course work withinthe people analytics domain. Additionally, a successful candidatewill be expected to perform the following responsibilities: Advance thought leadership through applied industryresearchBuild industry relationships and partnerships to enhance theprogram's connection to the workplaceSupport the growth and development of adjunct faculty baseContribute collaboratively to the advancement of theDivision's, Schools and NYU's mission and strategy. Along with direct teaching responsibilities, a successfulcandidate will be expected to act as an advocate for the program,assisting at orientation and information events, serving oncommittees, advising students, and building relationships andprograms within NYU SPS and with other NYUschools.QualificationsA PhD, or equivalent degree, in Human Resources Management,Organizational Psychology, or a related discipline is preferred,with a minimum degree of MBA, M.S. or other related Master'sprogram, plus 8-10 years working and executive coachingexperience.The ideal candidate will be able to lead in the creation ofintellectual capital around topic areas directly relevant toExecutive Coaching and Organizational Consulting practitioners,which could be applied through classroom teaching, publication inbusiness or academic journals, industry conferences andpartnerships. Experience and research in the areas of StrategicHuman Capital Management, Behavioral Science, ManagementConsulting, Ethics, and Technology, would be desirable, as would beexperience in curriculum, course, and program development.A review of credentials will begin immediately and continue untilthe position is filled.
