One Jeanswear Group Inc. is currently seeking Design Admin. This role will provide support to the Executive /General Admin. and coordinate administrative activities of the Design, Marketing and Technical Design Departments. The essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Update projections, adoption rates and organization charts by division.

Assist with invoice and sample tracking.

Submit expense reports for design heads as needed.

Contribute to meeting prep, agendas, scheduling and PowerPoint updates.

Manage and maintain department files and documents in an organized and systematic manner.

Submit paperwork for work stations and network access for new hires and temporary employees as needed.

Ensure all new hire work stations are cleaned and properly set up prior to their start date.

Coordinate cross functional meetings and reserve meeting rooms.

Ensure conference rooms are set up prior to large meetings.

Assist booking travel for design and technical heads as needed.

Schedule and book fit models for design team fittings and sales meetings.

Work with design, marketing and technical teams at improving floor organization and cleanliness.

Coordinate design floor donations and clean up dates.

Shop stores, purchase and return samples for design heads as needed.

Organize samples for design team as needed.

Download photos from designers to shared drive.

Communicate with all functions within OJG and outside vendors.

Complete ad hoc projects as needed.

  • Candidate must be able to work in a very fast paced and changing environment, must be a self-starter and independent thinker who can solve problems, juggle multiple priorities and think quickly on their feet
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Must respond to phone inquiries from vendors, internal personnel, etc.
  • Resolve maintenance or other administrative-related issues in a timely manner
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Extremely organized and maintains strong attention to detail
  • Strong ability to prioritize workload according to needs of the department
  • Experience in fashion a plus
  • Ability to check for errors and accuracy in excel spread sheets
  • Understanding of retail math a plus Strong verbal and written communication skill required
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook are a must
  • Photoshop and Illustrator knowledge are a plus
