The Enterprise Solutions Consultant is the primary technical and product resource for the Enterprise field sales force. The solutions consultant (SC) team lead will be a resource during the technology and product evaluation stage of the sales process as well as a resource for our enterprise operations partners, working in conjunction with the sales team as the key technical advisor and product advocate for our products. The Enterprise SC must be very familiar with Paylocity internal processes and be able to articulate technology and product positioning to both internal and external users.
Responsible for development and delivery of on-line product demonstrations for payroll, HR, time and labor and benefits products targeted at customer functionality for directly supported Enterprise sales individuals.
Responsible for holding larger revenue prospect meetings and answering questions specifically for accounts greater than 500 employees or high profile requests from the SC leadership .
Responsible for ensuring the Enterprise SC team is knowledgeable in all new functionality by working with the Solutions Consultant Training team, their manager, and collaborating with their peers
Responsible for ensuring all internal group questions are answered within 24 business hours
Communicate clear and detailed solutions to prospects regarding the Paylocity products, partner solutions, processes, and timelines to assure Paylocity is positioned for success post-sale.
Identify and document prospects custom needs and coordinate with internal teams (e.g. custom programming) to develop alternative solutions that can be presented to a prospect during the sales process.
Responsible for increasing the product knowledge level in the enterprise field sales force through ongoing education, knowledge sharing, and product training sessions.
Facilitate feedback to different departments regarding client needs, operational needs, business opportunities, product features & functions, and marketing/sales programs.
Responsible for conducting high risk presentation and evaluating fit with Paylocity
Assist the marketing department with functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs for the Enterprise HCM
Collaborate directly with implementation teams including possible onsite assistance
Guide clients through hands-on experiences
Travel will be required

Ideal candidate must be self-motivated with a proven track record in dealing with a field based sales force.
Must demonstrate consistent and accurate responses to complex questions or processes presented by prospects by using internal resources without assistance
Must have demonstrated an aptitude to perform in the SC role at a consistent, high level as determined by the SC Management team
Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports.
Organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches.
Experience and familiarity with Paylocity products and internal procedures
7 years or more of Industry experience in a solutions consultant capacity
Mobility required for sitting, standing and walking.
Manual/finger dexterity required in both hands to operate computer keyboard and manipulate small objects.
Sensory ability required to see, hear and touch.
Mental effort required for reading, writing, visualization, calculation and analysis.
Job duties usually performed in an office environment with uniform temperatures and normal air condition
