Position Summary:

Penske has an exciting opportunity available to join an innovative I-CAR Shop Program.

This is an ideal position for anyone who would like to move from

the shop floor into a training and mentoring role. The Senior Collision Repair Operations Trainer can be based anywhere in the United States and can be done remotely from home. Travel will be involved.

The Senior Collision Repair Operations Trainer will focus daily on developing and delivering collision repair training that will advance the skills of existing workforce.

Major Responsibilities:

Deliver training onsite at Collision Centers Nationwide. Conduct training within classroom and hands-on learning environment.

Assist in preparation and start-up of New Box Repair Centers. Includes assistance in planning and organizing start-up and training staff. Acts as a liaison with corporate and local staff. Monitor performance after opening, work with Collision Repair team and field operations to ensure location development measures are achieved.

Develop training schedule based on location needs with input from field operators; Create/provide reports and summaries of training conducted including follow up evaluations to measure effectiveness of training. Recommend content or delivery improvements.

Develop physical damage training curriculum. Partner with vendors to customize existing training modules. Keep content updated and relevant to new technologies and procedures.

Advises on updates to technical and user manuals to support use of company specific systems, application and procedures. Ensures material is accurate and reflects current standards.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelors degree preferred

ICAR certification preferred.

7 years of experience in Collision Center operations required

3 years of instructor or coaching experience in a classroom or hands-on environment required

Familiarity with Collision Center software preferred.

Advanced knowledge of collision operations and repair techniques required.

Experience with Microsoft office tools.

Ability to effectively deliver training content required.

Ability to develop training content required.

Ability to collaborate with vendors.

Must have excellent communication skills.

Must be able to travel to 24 nationwide locations on a regular basis.

Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
