We?re looking for a Business Development Representative to accelerate our growth by helping to increase the velocity of outreach to prospects. This role reports directly to the CEO The right person for this role is a self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who wants to build the foundation for a sales team and grow with the organization. What you will do: ? Prospecting: Research prospects to personalize sales outreach with highly tailored communication. Ability to craft compelling emails with pertinent information. Attend industry events on an ongoing basis to network with potential leads and gather intel on market trends. Outreach and Pipeline Management: Send outbound emails and schedule calls/demos/meetings. Manage a continual pipeline of opportunities to support company growth Manage call scheduling post-email response. Collaborate: Work directly with our team to identify mutual contacts to facilitate warm introductions to prospects. Work with the team to identify ways to keep prospects engaged. No cold calling required. Requirements: Hard facts about you: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field Experience managing a pipeline and closing large contracts 18 months+ sales experience. Strong writing skills - the ability to integrate information into emails to contextualize outreach. Experience with CRM (Hubspot) and scouting tools (Linkedin Sales) Soft facts about you: A curious mind: You read Hacker News, WIRED, TechCrunch, WSJ.D. Knowledge of finance, startups, and venture capital. Benefits: $100K on-target earnings (OTE) Base salary ($60K), plus A $ per call scheduled and realized ($20K OTE), plus A % of each closed deal?s first year ($20K OTE).
