Front Desk Supervisor Position Requirements1 to 3 years of related hospitality experienceKnowledge with FOSSE PMS preferred Work Environment and ContextThe Front Desk Supervisor work schedule varies and may include working on all shifts, holidays and weekendsRequires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, stooping, kneeling, or squatting Schedules the front office staffSupervises workload during shiftsEvaluates the job performance of each front office employeeSchedules front office meetings as requiredEnsures all required onboarding and ongoing trainings are completed by every front office agentMaintains working relationships and communicates with all departmentsVerifies that accurate room status information is maintained and properly communicatedUpdates daily entries & helps with bank depositsUpdates group information. Maintains, monitors, and prepares group requirements. Relays information to appropriate personnelReviews and completes credit limit reportWorks within the allocated budget for the Front OfficeReceives information from other departmental supervisors and passes on pertinent details to the oncoming service agentsChecks cashiers in and out and verifies banks and deposits at the end of each shiftEnforces all cash-handling, check-cashing, and credit policiesOperate all aspects of Front Office computer system, including software maintenance, report generation and analysis, and simple configuration changesEnsure logging and delivery of all messages, packages, and mail in a timely and professional mannerEnsure that employees are, at all times, attentive, friendly, helpful and courteous to all guests managers and other employeesMonitor all V.I.P 's special guests and requestsReview A/R on weekly basis and bring to management's attentionMaintain required pars of all front office and stationary suppliesReview daily front office work and activity reports generated by Night AuditReview Front office log book and Guest feedback forms on a daily basisMaintain an organized and comprehensive filing system with documentation of purchases, vouchering, schedules, forecasts, reports and tracking logsPerform other duties as requested by management
