Role and Responsibilities:

In the role of Regional Director - Greater New York City, you will lead our continued launch of our work in the regional market and work closely with our executive leadership team. Backed by a strong commitment of both philanthropic and programmatic partners, RevJen is seeking the right individual to build upon our early momentum to cultivate and expand a community of funders, nonprofit organizations and thought partners who are actively engaged in solving revenue challenges for organizations and the nonprofit sector as a whole. Specifically, you will:

Promote & sell RevJen solutions to nonprofit leadership teams and funders

Help set and execute the regional goals and strategies

Establish new partnerships and maintain existing relationships with nonprofit organizations, funders, boards and other community partners

Work with the leadership team to design plans that accomplish goals of RevJen in the region; Provide accurate revenue forecasts for the region on an ongoing basis;

Oversee RevJen s impact in the region, in partnership with our Dallas-based home office team, including planning, implementation, expansion, evaluation and overall success of RevJen s work in the region

Work closely with the home office team and other Regional Directors throughout the country to share best practices and promote learning

Participate in the design and development of new market products and engagement opportunities, including the recruitment of facilitators and creation of regional advisory boards

Assist the marketing team by contributing to RevJen s growing voice in the sector via the dissemination of articles, blogs, podcasts and testimonials; as well as attend key conferences and gatherings of sector leaders

Promote our organizational values, promote a fun and collaborative environment, communicate expectations, and celebrate progress!

Attend FUEL Series Workshops and other RevJen programming to ensure partners are satisfied and gaining value from their experience


Desired Experience and Skills:

Extensive background as an Executive Director or Chief Development Officer with responsibilities for the growth and sustainability of an organization;

Demonstrated record of success leading revenue generation and/or fundraising, managing partnerships, thinking strategically and being self-motivated;

Deep knowledge of the philanthropic landscape and nonprofit community in the region, and an extensive professional network in the area

Fundraising experience which includes significant achievements in all categories of philanthropy, including corporations, major donors, and foundations;

Seasoned communication and relationship-building skills, including the ability to listen, discern, think on one s feet, inspire confidence, and speak and write persuasively on a daily basis with people of diverse interests and backgrounds, including the ability to facilitate small and large group presentations with prospective philanthropic and nonprofit partners;

A strong track record in fundraising or sales, including the cultivation, stewardship and maintenance of high-level relationships within the philanthropic community;

Experience building external relationships with funders, other nonprofit leaders, and collaborative partners and coalitions; as well as developing, directing, and leading teams or initiatives with demonstrated excellence using outcome measurements and goal-setting;

Comfort with being an entrepreneurial self-starter , along with experience producing results in a rapidly growing, fast-paced and changing environment;

Have a passionate commitment to RevJen s mission and vision to improve outcomes for nonprofit organizations, leaders and the sector at-large;

10+ years as a successful leader in the nonprofit sector, government, private sector with proven visionary management and strategic planning capability;

Ability to travel on occasion to various locations, both regionally and nationally
