Software Developers will find an opening in the Professional Services industry with one of Robert Half's clients. We're seeking someone who can be responsible for implementing new features, maintaining existing code, and refactoring existing code across a breadth of products used both internally and externally at the company. This short-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the Avon, Connecticut area.


- Yield clear and consistent correspondences around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams

- You'll be great at this job if you can maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems

- Frequently complete code-review and join forces with other developers

- Solve and deliver production support

- Join forces with Scrum team to present correct work estimates- Less than one year of experience

- Experience with API design

- You might be a good fit for this position if you have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.

- This position requires knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF

- We are particularly looking for candiates with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc.

- Familiarity with scrum is required for success at this position

- It is preferred for applicants to have familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database)

- We are particularly looking for candiates who can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments

- Command of Photoshop

- Solid understanding of API Development
