Under the direction of the Director of Annual Giving, the Phonathon Supervisor is responsible for nightly management of the Phonathon program, supervising and motivating a team of approximately 20 student employees (callers) and generating statistical information and reports. This is a temporary part-time, contract position, based on 10 months a year September 1 - July 1. The scheduled hours are Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings 4:00 - 9:00pm and Thursday as needed/flexible hours. Some additional hours may be necessary.
* Oversees and coordinates all aspects of the Phonathon program, including hiring and training students, creating a schedule, partnering with Campus Call, and staffing shifts. * Acts as liaison for all phonathon technology, including working with IT and facilities to maintain the physical phonathon space and coordinating with Campus Call on data and logistics for the online calling platform. * Assists with annual giving web updates and digital strategy. * Participates in cultivating, soliciting and stewarding annual fund donors. * Collaborates with and works as part of the IA Team to achieve departmental goals as set out in the work plan.

* Bachelor's Degree * Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) * Ability to effectively communicate with a wide audience, exercising both professionalism and grace * Demonstrates critical thinking in order to problem solve with colleagues on approach and next steps to reach resolutions on complex issues * Work experience in higher education or current graduate student preferred * Donor database experience with Datatel and Raiser's Edge/RENEXT preferred * Must meet driver's eligibility requirements as stated in the Saint Michael's College Vehicle Use Policy
