The Proposal Manager is responsible for oversight and development of proposals, presentations, marketing literature, internal company messaging and maintaining opportunity tracking systems, conference/client event planning and implementation. This individual will also oversee the marketing staff members as well as collaboration with Business Development staff and Project Managers. For the right experience we can hire at a Director level. Primary Responsibilities: Responsible for working within technical teams to develop winning approaches and targeted messaging strategies for business development materials, submittals, proposals and interviews. Managing the process, timing and creation of marketing materials including proposals, submittals, bids and PR materials. Ongoing support of the business development pipeline, by monitoring of key client relationships, identifying leads and tracking progress of marketing strategies. Organizing public relations activities and publicity including industry related events, presentations, interviews, and conference attendance. Connecting and scheduling meetings for principals and project managers with potential clients in all relevant fields (developers, contractors, architects, etc) to create new business. Monitoring and managing annual marketing budget. Overseeing the coordination of internal and external communications programs with the marketing team, including social media platforms. Traveling to other corporate offices and events frequently Other job duties as assigned Basic Qualifications, Skills & Requirements: BA degree in Marketing, English, Journalism or Communications, from an accredited college or university preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar capacity. Experience in the AEC industry is highly desired. Experience managing essential marketing systems (CRM, image libraries, digital asset database). Expert in using programs such as Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word and Excel), Google Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Self-motivated, eager to build a business, and able to work independently and collaboratively. A strong attention to detail, rooted in a commitment to professional excellence. Superior writing and editing capabilities. Proven track record of building, strengthening and maintaining relationships. Knowledge of land development and construction, highly desired. Must have a valid CA driver license and a satisfactory driving record, in order to be insured by our corporate insurance.
