Job Description: SVP of National Sales Our team includes construction, manufacturing and technology professionals with deep experience in design, engineering, sales, project management, and service. We are looking to add to our management team so that we can continue to build a highly respected professional organization that will be the undisputed leader in the automated parking industry. SVP Sales The SVP of National Sales will be responsible for developing and leading the sales organization as it continues to expand beyond its core market in the Bay Area. The position will inherit several existing direct reports around the United States and will be charged with hiring and developing new sales roles in new markets in the US. Marketing would also report to this position. Requirements This job requires an individual to wear multiple hats, including: Educating the market and evangelizing the product. Leading a team for charged prospecting and collaborating with real estate developers, property owners, and architects. Supporting team’s efforts to work with customers on designs and iterations of these by collaborating with the internal team, including designers, engineers, and project managers. Creatively work on solving customer challenges. Developing proposals. Getting projects contracted. Staying engaged with the project post sale in coordination with installation and engineering team. Qualifications The SVP Sales must be a consummate businessperson in all respects of capability and professionalism Prior success in building and leading a high-performance national sales team in a rapid growth environment, including ability to recruit and retain talent, implement processes and required processes. Experience in working with varied decision makers, including real estate developers, architects, general contractors, and municipalities. Deep understanding of technical product sales, preferably to the architecture, real estate and construction industries. Prior experience in marketing efforts to support business-to business sales. Ability to build a solid grasp of all aspects of automated parking lifts from both a customer/developer perspective and a technical perspective. Maturity to work complex projects with sophisticated and often technically savvy business professionals. High attention to detail, including design and dimension accuracy. Ability to learn and interpret planning requirements holistically. Ability to succeed at staying on top of a sales pipeline and setting and achieving sales targets Undergraduate degree required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred. 20 years of related work and sales experience required. Excellent writer and verbal communicator. Team player A “fire in the belly” determination to succeed.
